Poor Honey

Honey is a very old Cocker Spaniel that was found on the street. For 2 months, she lived with my former employers but she's lived with us since 2009.

For those of you that don't know anything about Cocker Spaniels, they have all sorts of problems when they get older: eye infections, bad teeth, ear infections, warts, and general stinkiness. Honey is no exception. No matter how often she gets a bath or how many times she gets her teeth cleaned, she smells AWFUL! The vet has no idea why--the most memorable comment I got was, "It's pretty unusal for a dog's backside to smell better than her face."

It's for all those reasons that Honey has been banned from entering my sister's room. The other 3 dogs are allowed in, but only Chester and Benny are allowed to jump on her bed. Collin apparently smells too much like a "dog" to be allowed to be on her bed (interesting considering he IS a dog just like the others).

So here's Honey.... sitting at the door watching the other dogs mingle with my sister and my mother.

Poor Honey. :(
