slowing seasons

this afternoon brought a drive to the airport on one of my favorite northern michigan roads. over gently rolling hills, past orchard after orchard. a place where fruit trees play an ever important role in the lives of the people. the cherry capitol, but also home to apples, peaches, pears, and so much more. i couldnt help but make a quick stop at one of the countless farm stands that line the road. a pint of berries to satisfy my pre-flight hunger.
