Rocket Along the Evening Commute

Wrapped up a big project today, felt accomplished. Took off a bit early, complements of a flexible schedule agreement. Walked to the train, instead of taking metro, which takes me across the National Mall. Gloried in the sun and warmth. Made time for gelato pit stop, YUM. Strolled along in appreciation of the monuments and historic buildings. Got to the train with time to spare.
AWESOME. *sigh*

As before, trying to remember the coolness that surrounds me, such as the above, and come out from under the rat race mentality of a metro area.
