futile

went and played old boys rugby today.. very tiring.

On a nearby field the Hornets were playing the Saints. In contrast to us over 40s, the pace here was quick and relentless. Here, the Hornets wing tries to put in a fairly well executed but futile tackle as the Saints back rower ploughs over him to score a try.

It was a gorgeous day here, and an even more pleasant evening.

Though not shown here the rockies in the distance made a spectacular backdrop.
