Capering Cousins

I haven't really been all that impressed with Cape Cod until this afternoon when we happened upon this wonderful place. The lower cape is heavily sprinkled with strip malls, souvenir shops, and miniature golf courses. Not at all what I'd pictured.

Before dinner tonight, we had a little time to kill, so we headed up past the "elbow" of the cape and came upon the southernmost part of the Cape Cod National Seashore. My daughter and her cousin jumped out of the car and headed down this trail with an enthusiasm I hadn't seen all day. Now this is how I pictured Cape Cod.
