Falconry Made Simple
This is the RAF Falcons parachute display team, making their descent towards the beach at Clacton look extremely easy.
It's been a good number of years since they have been able to display here, due to both weather and tide times, but today, the tide was out and the weather more or less behaved itself, despite earlier forecasts.
Not quite the same without the Red Arrows, but the thundering Hawker Hunter certainly woke any sleeping babies and pensioners when it started it's display. The Brietling Wing Walker was also nice and noisy and pretty daring. She may well have been pretty too, but could tell with the wind contorting her face as she flew past atop the biplane. If they're back tomorrow, maybe that'll be my blip?
