This Thing of Ours
On April 6th, I shot a 16mm post-sync sound film called This Thing of Ours. Since it's about the mafia in the 50s/60s, the film is in black & white. I finally got to import a copy of the footage on my computer this morning, so I spent some time today editing it on Final Cut Pro.
I also got the negatives, so I decided to experiment with them. I photographed some of the rushes with my digital camera, downloaded the pictures on my computer, and inverted them on Photoshop. Since the lighting through the negatives wasn't adequate, the quality is really, really, really bad. The actual footage is 100x clearer and sharper than the inverted negatives, thank god.
