temporary architect

Last day of our first two week workshop block for the Master of product design enterprise that I have signed up for. I'm really in for it now. Am excited - in that great space prior to the trough of disillusionment that I'm sure will appear sometime in then next 8 weeks as I write my first research report. :]

I'm not an architect (am an industrial designer) but Tim and I have been asked by our campus environment team for ideas for designs for our new bike sheds that will be placed around the campus. I've always liked the idea of new buildings parasitically attaching themselves to the older established ones so spent part of this evening drawing up some rough concepts to get the idea across. These will most likely freak the people with the chequebook out, but I reckon it's worth a go...
