Long day of fighting with power hungry faculty in the ivory tower desperately called for backyard sunset quiet time with a bottle of wine in hand.

Then the weather turned freaky with crazy winds and some lightening, but it never rained. Just our luck.

Supposed to hit 108F on Saturday. Perhaps I'll wash the car and then try frying an egg on the hood just to see if you really can do that.

Hmmm...maybe it should be the other way around (fry the egg and THEN wash the car?). Though now I'm kinda curious whether you can fry some bacon with the egg, throw in a tortilla, avocado and salsa and and just make a complete breakfast with that kind of heat....
