Up high

Our barn kitties love those funky gate awnings (or whatever they are). I'm not sure why they used to put a beam across the top of a gate. It's not like you need to brace anything up.....just holding up the sky. But, maybe Grandpa was prescient and knew that someday, decades hence, I'd have barn kitties that like sleeping up in the sky.......
