A Very Pleasant Surprise

An uneventful day mainly, a bit of teaching and a bit of choosing, then uploading photos that may be used in a stock-photography-kinda-way.

Went to meet Sandra, after she had finished meeting & greeting w/clients.

As I don't earn huge sums yet (nor ever likely to!) from the teaching and Sandra pays herself not much, while their company is in it's infancy, money can sometimes be a little tight.

However, Sandra had a little envelope waiting for me w/some extra cash for some translating/copy-writing work that I did for her a while ago. I'd completely forgotten about it, which made it that much sweeter.

So immediately I said, lets get something nice to eat. We ended up eating some gorgeous food (Blackened Miso-Cod w/Parmesan Mash & Sea-food Linguini) in a new restaurant, called Franks (highly recommended!).

A really wonderful evening.

It was quite late by the time we got home, so hence the post a day later.
