Tram to Nowhere :: Cookie Dough

Hard to know what is causing the most embarrassment North of the Border this morning, Edinburgh's ongoing ever-shrinking/ever-more-expensive Tram fiasco or the alarmist back page headlines about the much exaggerated "Death of Scottish Football".

So, our teams did not do well in Europe last night, and of course it's impossible to pick up a paper that is not using the phrase "crashed out". But let's keep perspective; Scotland has plenty of top quality players, and managers - it's just that they are almost all plying their trade in the English Premier League.

As for the Trams, what a farce. A farce of farcical proportions. Even bigger than farcical proportions, whatever that is. Don't dare mention it in Edinburgh to any resident/tax-payer, shop-keeper, or worst of all taxi-driver... unless you want both barrels.
