A meeting at the bank to round the week off nicely. Discussions about balance sheets, securitisation, floating charges and how laying off 15,000 staff will improve customer service. It mostly went over my head. Made as much sense as a tram network that stops a mile from the city centre, will cost £700 million and which is budgeted to lose £4 million a year- that's if it ever gets finished at all.

Lovely views from the Executive Floor though - not that I have done them justice with this sneaky shot. There is a large balcony running right around the top of the building but we weren't allowed out there for health and safety reasons, mind you with 15,000 redundancies that's probably a wise decision.
