Robust Harvest

This year the garden is spectacular!

In the spring Bruce turned all the beds over with the rototiller and added a bunch of chicken poo, I think that helped a lot.

We are harvesting tomatoes, eggplant, blueberries, summer squash, zuccini, beans, lettuce, mesclun greens, beets, spinach, chard, peppers, jalapenos and lots of herbs...oregano, parsley, basil, sage, tarragon and thyme.

I love the arched entryway he built out of some little cedar trees. The morning glories were planted there four years ago and now they volunteer every summer.

My girlfriends all came over for a drink on Wednesday after work and I got to send them all home with bags of veggies. Love it!
