Hidden.
A thunderstorm on the hill brought the daughter and I scarpering back home from our walk... only to find that a strike had briefly taken out the power but it was long enough for the man to lose the talk he was writing. Not a happy chappie... so I decided to stay well out of the way.
As the blip never materialised on the walk either, I went as far as the kitchen window to see what I could find. The rowan at the back door (found at the back door of lots of older Scottish houses... it was believed that they would ward off evil spirits... and it was considered bad luck to cut them down) is covered in berries just now and a flock of hungry birds are currently eating them.
The tits are however dropping down onto the wall from time to time to see if there's anything more interesting there. Now I know why the green on their backs. I would imagine the camouflage is extremely useful if your preferred hunting ground is in and around a wall!!
