Busy, busy, busy

A backblip as it's been a busy twenty-four hours. I'm working at the MGEITF (The Media Guardian Edinburgh International Television Festival). I'm taking pictures of the Fast Track and Network  sessions - two schemes for new TV talent. The former is for people already in the media but looking to move upwards and the latter for people a few years behind them looking to get their first TV jobs. There are four days of workshops and lectures, with plenty of big names in the industry involved. After the welcome session at the EICC it was over to Napier for an afternoon of sessions. Quick break to take in the ENDAs (Evening News Drama Awards - none of the groups I'd taken pics of won anything, but the other Arkle show, The Thirty Nine Steps won the main prize). Then it was off to Pollock to take a group photo, before going back to the EICC for a social event - Al Murray hosting a version of his Compete for the Meat show (!) To be fair it was pretty good fun, and plenty of opportunities for relaxed candids, like this one. Once I finished there, about 10pm it was back to the ENDAs venue to join L and a few others and help to celebrate her birthday.
