Worry pas ta brain

Many years ago, Cayen's maternal grandfather was cutting wood for the winter, as the Acadian men of the time were wont to do, when he miraculously found this sign embedded in the heart of a Sugar Maple tree. It is in fact miraculous that a member of a family so notoriously addicted to Maple syrup had chosen to use a Sugar Maple as firewood.

In other words a veritable chain of miracles.

This embedded image has been a family heirloom ever since, proof positive of the direct link between the Acadian diaspora and the blood vendetta waged against the descendants of Mary Magdalen.

Cayen's mother is its proud owner now.

(The family is, of course, planning to sue Dan Brown for revisionist historical tendencies.)
