Summer

Finally, the summer sun arrived for my day off. Rain again.

I decided to ignore the Met Office's amber warning of heavy rain this morning, instead opting for the "look outside to see what it's doing" style of weather forecasting. Into town for a bit of shopping with no jacket. That's when the torrential rain started.

Home for lunch, and the sun came out. I decided to take one of my purchases back, so went out to the retail park. No jacket, but I did put on a hoodie. That's when the rain started. And thunder. And lightning.

If that's what happens when I go out, I'm staying in.
