...and not a single drop of rain yet
This lunchtime the sun was out, I broke a sweat walking Nairn home from school and we managed to get washing out on the line.
By 2.50pm the first rumble of thunder started. Facebook and Twitter lit up with comments about the hail, lightning and everything very very frighting. It was still nice and warm over our house. Looking at the clouds I thought we might miss it all as nothing was moving and all the rain was being dumped on the south side of Glasgow.
Then I tweeted the line in this blip's title. Within minutes the sky had turned black and the lighting started. The rain quickly followed and the thunder literally shook the house.
It was over in about 50 mins but by then the dogs were shaking and hiding under anything they could find and the kids would barely let go of us.
