celebrations

This morning: Cell Science Exam 2; the last one of the 5 wk course, which is now is over! woohoo. I feel good about the exam; we'll see if the hard work pays off.

This afternoon: SAGE (seniors assisting geriatric education) visit. Two to three students are assigned to a senior mentor and over the next 2yrs we make 8 'house-calls' to participate in a unique educational/life-learning experience. Not only do we get the opportunity to foster a relationship with an older member of the community, learning how to listen to and care for an older population, we get to, hopefully, have a positive impact on our senor's life as well. Today was incredible. I love our senior mentor and i am so excited to continue our relationship.

This evening: Sushi dinner with B and a surprise little gathering at a wine bar afterwards: celebrating my birthday from a few wks ago and celebrating the completion of our first course. Thank you sweet friends! Love you all!

tomorrow: a weekend to do as i please; including but limited to: working out and a mini road trip to ikea (one of my favorite stores!)
