protest.

Today Denver Public Schools' teacher's had a protest outside of the organization's main building which so happens to be a block from me. My Momma's a teacher, so these folks held my attention captive for the freezing 20 minutes I spent taking pictures. People with their dogs, their whistles and even a DJ to motivate the cold crowd swallowed the sidewalk while asking for respect, fair pay and to let them keep teaching their beloved students.

We all have had great teachers in our life, so while it was a protest, it was a motivational experience.

The day has been odd besides this; During a Spike Lee Q&A a boy had a seizure which seemed to cripple the audience while the reaction time was absurdly embarrassing. I hope no one I care about has any kind of medical emergency, as the incompetence at this campus is ridiculous.

So, strange day, ending with a protest after a typical Colorado Spring snow.
