Tree Painting

Not really sure what us going on with the tree painting but I guess it's some form of protection ?

In true Vietnamese style though, the task must be made as inefficient as humanly possible:

1. Make sure you mix the paint manually at the roadside (whatever you do, do not save time using any pre-prepared stuff)

2. Under no circumstances must you use a real paintbrush - instead, collect strands of grass and tie these together

3. No fewer than 4 operatives per tree (everyone must be gainfully employed)

4. Repeat for each tree along the roadside
