baby shark

My friend, Jaime, said she likes this picture because the whole thing is sort of gray and/or out of focus except the squirrel. I just like it cause the baby squirrel is SO SO CUTE.

I remember learning in a child psychology class, once, that the young of most mammals share a set of features, including large eyes, a rounder face and a whole bunch of other stuff, that makes infants look cute and thus elicits a response from adults to attend to and care for their young. I think that's so fascinating and that the baby squirrel is soooo cute. :)
