On Fire

My guts told me there would be a beautiful sunrise this morning, and I was right.

Unfortunately, I didn't quite get up in time to go down to the beach so I had to make do with shooting from the balcony.

We are still gearing up for the storm. New York has shut down the subway and the bus service and evacuated low lying areas. Up here in Boston, we haven't done anything that drastic yet. I plan to go into town today - on the subway. The rain is not supposed to start until tonight. Ocean still calm as a millpond, as you can see.
