Four Seasons in One Day
I've had a good day today. I started off with a bit of reading and some breakfast. Then I checked blip to see what was going on here.
I then took Cousteau for a sunny walk on the beach. We met up with Pixelsmiths for a very pleasant lunch where we talked mainly about photography - surprise, surprise.
The weather turned quite nasty and we had hail and big splashing rain drops. Cousteau enjoyed a second walk on the beach while I gave pixelsmiths a crash course in photographing a fast-moving red object. Cousteau got biscuits for his co-operation.
I also shot this surfer (not literally), deep in contemplation.
Then I went for coffee with some friends in New Brighton and they have invited Cousteau and me over for tea and a DVD while Canterbury freezes his proverbials off at a rugby match. I know who got the better deal there.
As you can see, my shot is quite a contrast to Canterbury's, taken later in the day.
Edit: Never comment on one of my photos till I've had the chance to change my mind a few times. I've gone for the pier. That is the last word on the matter. It's a sunny, happy shot. And that's final ... for now.
