Could I climb down there?
WOW!....What can I say?.....I am overwhelmed by the response to yesterday's blip. I was even second place on the spotlight page at one point! Thank you soooooooo much to everyone that stopped by, I never, ever thought that a silly picture of me like that would create such a stir, after all it is hardly great photography!! I LOVE making you all smile, so I will try and think up some new ideas to keep you entertained! I am sending you all a big Lily lick.....*slurp* :-)
This is me today on our sea wall walk. I have to keep my ball firmly in my mouth because LOTS of times I have dropped it and it has rolled down between the rocks, never to be seen again. I get quite upset when this happens and I keep running back to where I lost it and wondering why mum just can't get herself down there to get it for me?!
I was a bit worried about this tree that was poking over the rocks. I tried to woof at it with my ball in my mouth but it sounded more like a gurgle than a woof *giggle* Then I noticed the SEA miles out there........I stood for ages trying to think if I could climb down the rocks and make a mad dash across the mud towards it! Oh boy that would have been fun :-)
Anyway, we carried on walking and then mum suddenly got a HOOPY out of her rucksack. WOWEEEE I have seen hoopies before,Teagan has one and I have always wanted one. So I was VERY excited when mum got it out. I wasn't allowed to touch it though, even though I was doing jumpies 3 foot in the air! Then.......mum said READY.....STEADY......GOOOOOOOO and off it went.........I ran and ran and........WEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE it flew through the air WEEEEEEEEEEEEE I ran and ran and.......OH NOOOOOOO.....the wind got hold of my hoopie and it went over the fence in the field with the cows!!
I ran along the fence trying to find a hole......I put my paws up to the fence to see if I could get over..... but no.....there was no way in.....and those silly cows, they wouldn't listen to me and pick it up and bring it over. Oh no....they are so boring....they just looked at it, looked at me and then carried on chewing the grass. Grrrrrrrrrrr
So I never even got to touch my hoopy :-( Daddy has said, though, that if we go back tomorrow and it is still there, then he will try and climb over for me and get it. Mum couldn't do that today because that would have meant leaving me "unsupervised"??? Good old daddy, I can't wait to see him with the cows!
Bye for now
