Wood

The traditional symbol for five years of marriage is wood, apparently.

My husband bought me a map of a forest (which I secretly thought was a brilliant idea!).

My mother-in-law bought us a beautiful heart shaped olive wood chopping board.

I didn't get my husband anything. Oops. We've never really bought each other a gift for anniversaries.

So, feeling guilty I went and bought lots of chocolate to eat while we watch a film this evening.

However, I know for a fact that I will end up eating most of it!

Oh well, at least now I've blipped it I may remember to try harder next year!
