Hisoric Value Only...

Just got back from our nephew's wedding at West Point. Talk about perfect timing - they got married under sunny skies yesterday, while today we all brace for Hurricane Irene. My nephew and his new bride have to leave tomorrow (driving) back to Ft. Bragg where is stationed.

I was wandering around the Hotel Thayer this morning before we left and this just caught my eye. A bit out of my "norm" but the colors, textures, and irony all caught my attention.

I'm off now to refill all the hummingbird feeders and tie down the patio furniture. To all my fellow blippers in Irene's path - be safe!
