New Bed!

We have finally finished the bedroom for Elizabeth and, eventually, the new baby to share. Elizabeth has a proper grown up bed.

I am really impressed with the new furniture, it is very good value for money! The mattress is super comfy. Bedtime should be even nicer now!

Elizabeth seems quite excited by it all. I will worry about her getting out of the bed in the night. She can get off it herself, but it will be different at night, when she's maybe forgotten that she's in a different bed. Well, tune in tomorrow to find out how it goes...

Jeff's dad came to help put the furniture together. Elizabeth spent most of the afternoon saying "da-dad, da-dad" for "grandad".

2 words she certainly knows the meaning of now are "thank you" and "no".

Yesterday she said "thank you mummy" when I pushed her up a hill on a trike, after she'd been stuck. And she said it again today when I moved my foot out of her way on the sofa.

As for no, well she knows what she doesn't want, that's for sure! She is now saying "uh huh" or just "huh" for yes, which is very cute, but probably not something we should encourage. :)
