Day Seven - Colomina to Ventosa

Early in our trip we had spoken to some very helpful Dutch people, who had asked us about our plans. They had seemed politely surprised at the ambitiousness of some of our days, but reasoned we were young fit and experienced - so why not if we wanted to! But of our plans for this day they were clearly horrified. It is not possible they said - one half of our intended route had taken them nine hours! Three kilometres of huge randomly upended boulders with no way around. And after 900metres of steep climb. Shall I confess we therefore cheated on this section and arrived alive at the other end!
