Feeding the Pelicans

Pretty poor effort tonight. While trying a bit of HDR on this boat ramp, a fisherman turned up. Nice chap. Apparently he didn't catch any fish but he fed the pelicans a lot of fish with the fillets cut off. Hmmmm. I had a very small window of time to take this pic. It is a combination of flash and a long exposure. One shot.

I got to have a yarn with him about fishing conditions and quizzed him about water depths out on the bay.

Long weekend. Jo and I went out to a pub for a drink tonight and grabbed some snacks while we were there. Dinner done.

I am off to Stanthorpe in the morning. Country blip coming up tomorrow...
