Bliss?

We have arrived in Mancora! Last night we rocked up to Piura (a scabby city on Peru's north coast) at around 9pm, having travelled since 10.45am the same day. Tired and weary, we then subjected ourselves to a 3 hour journey from there to a popular surfing paradise up the road... And here we are!

We crashed at around 1am after bumping into one of my old friends from the previous visit to South America last year, I think he realised how shattered we were and didn't keep us too long... This morning we went for a walk on a very windy, highly eroded beach. Not only did we see this early morning rider lazily cantering on his way to cash in on some tourists with some over-priced pony rides, but we also saw a chihuahua in a bikini. YES, a chihuahua. Strange old world we live in!
