I've already had two geocaching entries in my 40 before 40 and I wasn't planning any more, but this was too good an opportunity to miss. A couple of weeks ago a caching friend, Elz, told us she was planning to attempt The Spider a 5 difficulty / 5 terrain geocache with her partner & she wanted to know if Dawn & I wanted to join them. When she sent me a text last night it was a done deal, too right I wanted a 5/5 on my record.

The owner had intended cachers to abseil down the bridge to get to the cache, but if you know someone with a 12 foot ladder it's much easier to get your hands on. But so long as the log is signed, the find is counted. maybe i might attempt another 5/5 in the future but I have a feeling it may be more difficult that this one was.
