End of the line...

Not quite. That was the beginning of the queue to see Melvyn Bragg at the Edinburgh Book Festival, the end of the queue was almost wound round to the start!

He appeared on stage with his mac (coat) and his briefcase looking like a college professor and without the book he was to talk about. Thoroughly enjoyed his talk, very passionate about his subject.

Then a quick bite to eat and off to see Simon Callow at the Assembly Hall, fantastic. Always great to see.

Late lunch and a quick look round the Craft Fair, back to the Book Festival another coffee then home.

That's my Festival day over for another year!
