Happy 80th mum!

Today was a good day. Mum's 80th birthday, so a family gathering ensued with a surprise lunch at Dunblane Hydro organised for family and friends. Great to see everyone together again, and to have the opportunity to renew old acquaintances. Everyone enjoyed themselves and Ma C was delighted to see old friends that she hasn't seen in a long time.

After lunch it was back home to Ma and Pa C's for coffee and birthday cake and more chat.

The picture shows the birthday girl with her youngest grandchild, the former born in 1931 and the latter born in 2009.
