We went for lunch at a great vegan restaurant, Veggie Table, on Wudaoying hutong near the Lama Temple today. Hummus, spicy beanburger and a stellar veggie curry. So nice to feel both full and virtuous.

Along the hutong is a small bar called V Bar. No prizes for guessing what V stands for... but the sign still tickled me.
