Shetland Wild Flowers #14 Sow-thistle

Most of the clumps of wild flowers have gone now but there are still areas where they will hang on well into September.

This, I think, is Sow Thistle and is very common near the beaches.

Maybe my last wild flower blip of the year but then again...............
