New little spark of life...

So here he/she/it is.... a starling chick! And really really freshly fledged. At this point they weigh around 5 grams.

I promised you guys some muppet-imitator chicks. Well... I have not made those shots yet. But as you can see, they are certainly created Jim Henson style. However, they got me wondering today, whether it wasn't more Fraggle imitating behaviour of these little thingies?!

(And for those religious people out there. Who claimed god didn't have a sense of humor! :D)

Well, anyway/how/where/when, I just love the little critters. Almost regret pestering them with annoying research questions.
