Synchronized Flying!

Went to the kite festival at Southsea this afternoon, nose to tail traffic all the way into Portsmouth, then it poured down with rain, eventually reached Southsea Common to find no parking spaces unless you paid an arm and a leg!
Then our luck changed, found a gap in one of the side streets where the previous occupant had kindly left a ticket with 20 minutes left on it so we sprinted across to the common just as the sun came out and the synchronized kite flying started - it was amazing - 36 kites forming squares, circles and starbursts etc. Took a few pics of the other kites which can be seen in my Blipfolio (kites) and sprinted back to the car before the rain started again!!
