Colourful bench

Cycling home from work I noticed this colourful front bench. I stopped and admired it, taking a snap.

The owner came out, seemingly delighted that I was interested and proceeded to tell me how he'd cut out a piece, lined it, and filled it with plants.

While he was talking to me, his dog (a long-haired daschund) came out and started licking my toes! Apparently the dog was called Bas, whose name was revealed when his owner called him in for dinner!
