A Sunday with the occasion of a family reunion, once in a while we manage this and I'd asked them to pose for me today, they did but always with a cheat - only here they pose with patience when I waited till passers by were out of sight.

The church in the background is the Hoogland church of Leiden which building was started with the plan of making it the largest and most beautiful church of the country, but then the budget was emptied long before that plan was realised..... a story of centuries ago that sounds nowadays all so familiar!
