Never without food

My church cannot mark an event without food. This is a very good thing, as there are many talented cooks! Today's event to mark with soup and pudding was the first Sunday we had our new pastor with us. Although Don officially starts on Thursday, he and his family were officially introduced and welcomed. There will be a formal kind of commissioning service in a few weeks, but this was nicely relaxed. I am really excited to see what God will do in our church, and where he will take us. All in all it's been a lovely day, spent with friends doing very little, but amusingly so!

PS another movie story - apparently the car wasn't the first theft (see here), last weekend they were shooting around Grangemouth, and had plastic cows in the fields to look more rural, and some of the cows vanished!
