Evil blob

What the heck IS this stuff?
This is a macro shot of a green blob found on the inside of the window pane. Looks like a couple of cells, shrunk a bit. Maybe the cat coughed it up? Maybe the basil plant lost some parts? I have no clue at all...
Too bad it got cleaned up. We'll never know.
