Don't just hand your heart away..

These hearts hang on my door. They were a present from my sister and everyday they remind me of a few things. They remind me to love myself for who I am and also that I have a heart back, which is worth holding on to.
I was having a chat yesterday with my friend and my advice to him was don't just give your heart to anyone'..
People can fall in and out of love so quickly these days and it's encouraged so much at times by media etc..The world has a lot to learn..
A couple of yrs ago I gave my heart to a guy who I was really in love with but months later it ended and I was left with a smashed heart and a lot of hurt. It's only lately that I feel like I have my heart back which is brilliant but I know the next time, my heart will be held onto tightly and only given to someone who truly gives me theirs too.
Our hearts are the most precious part of us and need to be looked after so well by us and others...
Please don't just give your heart to anyone x
