>> Took the train* yesterday to Oshawa to meet my friend, moving in from Montreal for her first big academic gig. Everyone converged on the place--movers, friends, family--making the work as light as anything. By the time I hopped on the 640 back to the big smoke, her place was on its way to becoming a home.

* Upside: I can use Danforth stop and avoid Union Station. Downside: the platform's directly below my ex's penthouse.
