Fascists!

Edinburgh council have decided that they're not making enough money out of our area, so they're going to charge us to park in the vicinity of (can't park outside because they've slapped 25ft of double yellow lines around) my house. Oh, and they'll charge us to buy 'passes' for any visitors we might have. But we're only allowed 30 passes PER YEAR! I'm serious. This is ridiculous....
The only crowding in the street is at the bottom where there are flats - and parking restrictions on the main road so the folk park round the corner. It's madness. Why can't they just be honest and say that they want the revenue....
