Oriental Smellies

I see a lot of flowers on Blip, they make such good photos. These Oriental Lillies are on our dining room table at the moment and they have been a focus of my attention for the last four days since Mrs Hollow bought them. That's because ...

I HATE THEM!!!!!

...they have the most stinkiest, pungent, dominant smells of any flower I have ever smelt - I can smell them from other rooms! They are the flower equivalent of an elderly lady who has covered themselves in a little more perfumed than they should - and not that nice perfume either, that 1970's style that makes your throat close up when they are in the room.

Their pollen gets everywhere and stains wherever it lands too! Mrs Hollow knows my feelings on these, and I am sure that's why she got them (subtle punishment for something I've done, or not done).
