Trains

We stopped to visit Grosmont station not far from Whitby before doing a walk on the North Yorks Moors. Part of the station is kept as it was in the 1950s and often have steam trains doing pleasure trips. This part of the station and the steam train drivers are all volunteers, and of course very enthusiastic about old trains!

The shot is of carriages waiting for their respective trains to pull them away. The one on the right is an old Pulman coach and today people will be having lunch in style all the way to Pickering. Nice thing to do on a Bank Holiday.
