Morton Castle

Built in 1307 it was one of many castles in Nithsdale to be dismantled in 1357 under the terms of the Treaty of Berwick between Scotland and England. It was then rebuilt a century later and remained inhabited till the early 18th century. Now it's just an empty shell.
I think it would be a great place to have an outdoor musical event! Maybe I'll write to Historical Scotland and see what they think....
