On the way to the airport
This isn't quite the only picture I took today but it's the only blippable one and it certainly needed the snapseed touch.
I had to get up mega early for the transfer to the bus station followed by the transfer to the airport. I'm not exactly sure why Keflavik Airport has to be about 50 km from Reykjavik and out in the middle of nowhere given that they are not exactly short of space in Iceland. It certainly has the effect of elongating the journey. But there was not repeat of last Monday's shenanigans with the 8 hour delay, and I got back into Edinburgh with perfect timing to meet some colleagues for a research meeting this afternoon in the flat.
And now I'm being sucked back into the highly addictive and confusing practices of ancestor worship for Mr A when I should be getting on with some work.
Oh and deciding whether our fridge freezer merits a very expensive repair or whether it should just be replaced. And making a trip over to the southside for some other domestic business.
Grrrhhh. Too busy. Don't like that.
